Day 1 BoTB – Congratulations to the CATS’ Emily Roper 2nd overall in Elite Women/NRS and was also awarded the Pink Young Rider’s jersey. An exceptional result for Emily as an individual rider competing against the NRS teams. In Men’s Masters A (MAS Div 1) Heath Fitzpatrick completely emptied himself not once but twice to bring home the King of the Mountain jersey and goes into stage 2 wearing the polka dots.
A solid but wet day in the saddle but tomorrow we soldier on.
See you all for stage 2 at the Battle and feel free to tag your mates in some of our Battle photos.
