    The RideGC O’Reillys take

O’Reillys: This is a lengthy and challenging ride, taking you through a vast amount of landscapes which are dominated by hill climbs. A big feature of this ride is the section from Canungra which takes you out past the O’Reillys Vineyards and up to the foot of the magic 26km (16ml) climb to O’Reillys Rainforest Retreat. The gradient is not too testing but it is 26 km’s, and has 102 sumptuous bends and plenty of wildlife including Kangaroo’s to keep you busy. The bush is stunning with the views growing with every pedal stroke and when you reach the infamous rainforest section you will be plunged into another world, a very dark cool mysterious Jurrasic type environment, and beware! with a few tricky little climbs that will surprise the best of you. The return down the hill is going to take the best part of an hour and to begin with will challenge your bike skills as you descend back down the dark rain forest section, where common sense is the main theme.
