Battle on the Border is like no other

QSM have found a solid niche on the national and Local Cycling Calendar
Now in its 8th year, the Battle on the Border cycling festival has grown to a notable multi-stage tour offering challenging racing in juniors, elite, masters and NRS divisions. The festival courses range from 50km to 150km, crossing challenging terrain and highlighting the beautifully unique volcanic caldera environment.
The Battle is a wonderful event for the cyclists to bring their friends and families to support them over the four day festival and explore all that the region has to offer. Beginning with the welcome and registration on Thursday and concluding later Sunday, this is four day event, with most cyclists going home Monday after a celebration Sunday night.
The 2016 Battle on the Border Cycling Festival is a combination of a competitive racing tour and social riding (Fondo) events.
