Nerang Outdoor Velodrome is a first class cycling asset to the Gold Coast, incorporating the outdoor Velodrome, a Criterium track wrapped around it, plus a fantastic MTB course adjoining Criterium. (Also great for cross country running)

The Nerang Outdoor Velodrome is part of an overall facility containing a Criterium Circuit and MTB tracks of an international standard.
Velodrome Specifications

- lights for night time use
- Covered grandstand for 240 people and temporary grandstands for a further 150 people
- Adjacent to the Nerang State Forest MTB facility
- Access is directly off Hope Street Nerang on the Western side of the circuit
- ‘Gold Coast Cycling Club Wednesday Evenings – all welcome
- ‘Gold Coast Cycling Club and ‘Gold Coast Masters’ alternate on Sunday mornings
- This facility is open to the public 7 days per week
- Change room facilities – Suitable for small teams (1–10 athletes per male or female rooms)

The surrounding Nerang Criterium Circuit hosted the pre-2000 Olympic Games training for Great Britain Cycling (Road) and Triathlon Teams, and the Sweden Cycling (track) Team.
There are 2 Asphalt circuits: which both include a 200 m hill.

- 1500 mtr circuits which both include a 200 m hill.
Mountain Biking – MTB
The adjoining Nerang State Forest, with its hilly terrain and well-maintained trails is a favourite recreational area for mountain bike riders.
