Criterium, GC Bike Fit
Chris Alomes as some of you know I run races a few times a year. When I do, I like it to be very different to the usual stuff. The sort of races I would have liked to race myself.
My next race (assuming permission from the powers that be) I would like to run a criterium on the smallest lap available at nerang. Its close to a hotdog, but not quite.
I bet that half the A grade field wouldnt last half the distance if they race it like a hotdog is usually raced!
I propose each grade races 1/2 the usual timeframe as a heat, where HALF the field qualify for the final in each grade.
Heres the interesting part,
The winning half of A grade goes on to race again
The second half of A grade is combined with the winning half of B grade
the losing half of B grade is with the winning half of C grade.
If we have a C grade that wants to race this format. Otherwise C grade can stand alone
