As we approach winter riding conditions it is important to consider how well you can be seen by vehicle drivers in the dark. Obviously, bike lights are essential but I reckon more is better when it comes to being seen on the roads. I use multiple rear lights (frame and helmet) and I also got myself a mesh hi viz vest that drivers can’t miss. The one I bought (pictured) cost me $3.50 on eBay. If you do a search on eBay for “reflective vest” you will find heaps of different options. That $3.50 might save your life one day. Happy riding.
